James Thomas is the Managing Partner of Thomas Maritime and Ithaca Marine. He is also Chairman of the Board of Stamford Health, an $900 million health-care system. He was the co-founder and a partner at Thomas McNerney & Partners, a health care focused private equity firm that invested in biotech, medical devices, and diagnostics in that sector. Prior to that, James was a partner at Warburg Pincus and a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. James attended the University of Pennsylvania and earned his Master’s of Economics at the London School of Economics.
Ellen is the Director of Finance and Operations at Thomas Maritime. Previously, Ellen was a Director at a data science start-up. She has helped many small companies create and manage their finance function. Ellen attended Johns Hopkins University and earned her MBA the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
